THE BATTERY ATLANTA

This past weekend I got the chance to check out The Battery Atlanta, which is the new Atlanta Braves Stadium. It offers a number of restaurants, bars, shops, and apartments for Atlanta to enjoy.

I was on a roll of going new places and having a great experience but lately I've been so disappointed and Battery Atlanta added to my list of disappointments. I expected a little more out of the park and was let down when I saw what it had to offer. I understand that this is a new development and it has the opportunity and the ability to improve with time and maybe I had the wrong idea of its purpose but what I experienced was boring to sum it all up. The few shops that I passed by didn't even seem worth walking into to see what they had and that says a lot coming from me, a person who loves to shop. There are some good restaurants, like Fox Bros BBQ, Yard House, Wahlburgers and Antico.

I did get the chance to eat at Antico Pizza and enjoyed ever moment of that! The pizza we ordered is called Diavola, it was amazing! The blend of spicy salmi, pepperoni and hot red peppers over a tasty marinara sauce and crisp crust was absolutely perfect. This was my first time eating at Antico Pizza and after being disappointed with the Battery Park, this pizza definitely brought a spark to my low mood.
