"Art is what you can get away with" - Andy Warhol
This past Sunday I went to the last showing of the Andy Warhol exhibit at the High Museum of Art in Atlanta, although I have been to the museum previously I wanted to go experience the temporary prints of the Artist Warhol. I must say it was great!
Andy Warhol was a man of multiple talents, he held titles of a artist, producer, and director. He is most famous for leading the pop art movement in the 1950s. Warhol died at the age of 59 in his sleep from a post-op cardiac arrhythmia but his art did not die with him. His art and his life is now in many art history text books and he is famous across the nation for the life he lived as an artist.
Below are some of my favorite prints from the exhibit, hope you enjoy them as much as I did.
