Cooking with KT - Chicken & Shrimp Alfredo with Steamed Vegetables and Garlic Bread


A fulfilling dinner!
This is a perfect dinner idea for those of us who don't like to spend a lot of money and a lot of time in the kitchen but loves to eat good! Alfredo may be the easiest style of pasta to pull off. Its quick, fun, and delicious! Heres my spin on this very versatile and popular dish.
Ingredients used: Boneless chicken brest
Fresh shrimp
Smoked sausage
Bacon
Penne pasta
Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Butter
2 large boxes of heavy whipping cream
2 packs of cream cheese
Fresh cut green beans (or any vegetable of your choice)
Garlic bread
Italian cheese
Mozzarella cheese
Parmasean cheese
Seasonings used: Alfredo seasoning pack
Garlic powder
Onion powder
Black pepper
Italian seasoning
Cajun blackened seasoning
Old Bay seasoning
Step by Step:
1. In a large mixing bowl using an electric mix to mix the butter, heavy whipping cream, and cream cheese
2. Cut and season your chicken and shrimp using each seasoning EXCEPT the alfredo seasoning pack
3. Boil water with olive oil for pasta
4. Turn on your oven to 350 degrees to pre heat
5. Use a steamer pot to steam your vegetables - wait until they are cooked to lightly season them
6. Throughly cook your chicken and shrimp in separate pans
7. Add your bread and bacon into oven, cook the bacon until it is crisp enough to break into small pieces
8. Boil your sausage and then fry to your preference
9. Mix the chicken and aflredo sauce and add in all seasoning including alfredo pack
10. Add shrimp to the Alfredo and continue to stir and add seasoning to your liking.
11. Plate your food
12. Add bacon on top of the alfredo
13. Add the cheese on top of the bacon
14. Add small chopped pieces of sausage and more bacon to the top of the alfredo
